Please pray for our family. My cousin lost her 29 year old husband unexpectedly to suicide. It has devastated our family! We lay him to rest today. He was a good Christian and we all loved him. Hold your loved ones close, be encouraging and uplifting. We never know what demons they are fighting.

From my high school friend Cindy Carroll: I had a knot removed from my lower leg last week. Today I got the pathology report and it showed leukemia cutis and Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This was quite unexpected and tomorrow I will head to Vanderbilt to have a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy. I don’t know what the course of treatment will be~ but I am ready to fight. And I know that God is with me every step of the way! Please pray for her healing.
Update from Cindy: 9/24/2021 I received a preliminary report and my pet scan showed that the cancer is gone! There is one small lymph node by my heart that was highlighted, but the doctor wasn't worried. I haven’t received my bone marrow biopsy results yet, but I am encouraged. I will get another round of IV chemo and continue taking oral chemo until transplant. The doctor is thinking the bone marrow transplant will be at the beginning of November. Praising God for parting the waters for me!!! 🙌
One month of chemo down and one to go. I am doing ok. I have fatigue almost all day every day with a mixture of energy bursts and then without warning my body decides to hurt and basically stops for the day. It has been a huge blessing to have my IV chemo treatments and weekly monitoring done at CCI. The past 28 days of oral chemo has been managed at home and I am so thankful to get to sleep in my bed each night!!! My white blood cell count is ZERO, so I have to stay somewhat isolated to avoid getting sick. But I am truly thankful for each day! Cancer makes you very aware of the increased potential to meet your Savior early, but if we are honest~ none of us are promised tomorrow. “We make our plans and we hear God laughing” because life changes on a dime and you have to make the most of it. I know that God did not cause this leukemia and I am assured that He is working ALL things for my good! He works ceaselessly and tirelessly “behind the scenes, above the fury, within the fray.” I’m trying my best to learn and grow during this season of my life. The promises of God and the hope found only in Him gives me great joy every day no matter what my circumstances are. In ways it is easier because it is my second battle with leukemia and I know what to expect. Then again, it is kind of harder because it is my second battle and I know what to expect. All I desire is to love and love fiercely!!! And to keep my eyes firmly planted on Jesus!!! Our family is doing amazingly well and we sOO appreciate every prayer, message, text, call, card, gift card and gifts! Sending love and hugs from our family to yours.
We prayed for Cindy this morning in our Shibboleth Prayer Time (8/6/21). Any updates?
Thank you for the update. We prayed for Cindy today during our Shibboleth prayer time.
Update from Cindy I am going to be transparent here. I have felt discouraged about having leukemia again. Two weeks ago, my doctor at Vanderbilt told me that only 3% of Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients have their leukemia present as a subcutaneous solid nodule. He also told me that he can count on ONE hand how many times he has seen this in the past eighteen years as a leukemia specialist. I felt disheartened… until I went to Vanderbilt last week and was told by the very same doctor that most patients (if they are lucky) have 1-3 donors who are perfect matches for their bone marrow transplant. My doctor told me that I had FORTY perfect matches!!! He was both surprised and perplexed by the sheer number of perfect matches when doing a search of the bone marrow registry!!! And I felt like I received a BIG hug from GOD!!! I am saying this to say~ you may feel like God doesn’t see you, like you slipped through a crack and you are no longer visible to Him~ but that’s just not true! God is ALL KNOWING and HE CARES about every single detail of your life!⭐️
I am praying for God's grace, strength, presence, wisdom, and most of all, his peace over you and your team of Dr.'s Our God is Jehovah Rapha, our healer!!
Prayers for you my friend. My hubby had AML since 99 he was on a drug to help and then got a Mutation in his blood and had to have Bone Marrow Transplant! Best Thing he ever did. He was feeling alittle bad at first until his body adjusted to this, but he is cured of Leukemia! You got this! Not only do you have this God is standing right there beside you always! Love you! Prayers always!
Prayers for you and your sweet friend.
Update: This is from Cindy's Facebook page. I want you to know I have read every post, private message and text! Y’all have brought big tears of joy to my eyes because your hearts are soO big and you are prayer Warriors! Well, I’m going to need you! The Vanderbilt doctors told me that regardless of the PET scan and bone marrow biopsy results, I will be having induction chemotherapy to wipe out all of my existing cells and I will once again have a bone marrow transplant. And all I keep hearing (from within me) is “I am ok”! I am not sure when all of this will begin. It will take two weeks or more for the test results to come back and for a plan of care to be established, but I am reminded that my God is a God of miracles! His power is not confined to the Old Testament and Jesus miracles are not only found in the pages of the New Testament! The miracles begin there, but they don’t end there! He already moved the mountain for me and I believe I’ll see Him do it again!🙌 So, let’s do this! Round #2🥊tko

please pray for me, i have been very discouraged and disheartened about my weight
❤️
Tonya, I am right there with you. I had to renew my subscription because I went a whole year just dabblin' with it. This past year has aged me by ten! So, for my future ME, and my future hubby, we are digging into it this time. Still a slow start, we we HAVE begun our journey towards a brighter future. We are not small people and our goal weights SOUND unreachable. But, now we have a plan. God bless you as you gain more knowledge and understanding as you study the food guidelines. YOU ARE WORTH IT!
Hi Tonya, I am praying for you! Take it one day at a time! Remember, this is a journey---a marathon! God will strengthen you as you rely on Him.
You got it!! Prayer WILL pull you through. I know how you feel. I have been there...several times. God always brings me through it.

I have been fighting depression and no job. I had started a job in a warehouse but it was so physically demanding and I couldn't do it - which fed my depression. My husband doesn't understand because he's got a physically demanding job. Please pray for me to get back on track with this plan and get the depression under control.
We prayed for you this morning in our Shibboleth Prayer Time (8/6/21). Are you doing better?
How are you doing? We prayed for you this morning in our Shibboleth prayer time.
I hope everything gets better
God has perfect timing. We don't enjoy the times in the valleys or ravines, but we can trust that the Lord that he will bring us through the valleys to the hilltops. Just keep plugging away one step at a time. It may feel like you are climbing a mountain, but that is how we get to the mountain tops. If you cannot run, then walk, If you cannot walk 1 mile then walk walk you can. I am also praying for your spouse that he will see you persisting and be encouraged.
The Lord will supply. He has something for you! Trust Him, praise Him and focus on the blessings. "In all things, give thanks"! We will be praying for you today at the Shibboleth prayer time (7/2/21)

Praise God we are finally getting much needed rain here. We were in drought conditions, not sure if it's enough though. Pray for my oldest daughter, several months ago she awoke with severe back pain and had been going to PT. A week t I decided that we needed to find out why things were not improving. Dr order a MRI which showed disc protrusion at L4-L5 and fluid on the facet. Still waiting to talk to the Dr about the next steps. We've been trying to encourage her to get a job but it's going to be hard to do because just walking aggravates it and bending over too.
We prayed for you this morning in our Shibboleth Prayer Time (8/6/21). How is your daughter?
Any update your daughter? We are praying for you all during this time.
I pray for relief from pain, healing and renewed energy and purpose for her life. It is hard to transition into independence any time and especially so during Covid. I pray her spirits will be lifted and she will have confidence in God's plan for her life; that she be restored to wholeness.
Neurosurgeon does not want to do surgery but pain management. She is showing signs of arthritis in that area. All I could think of was she needs to go on Shibboleth to keep her inflammation down. She's only thinking about me losing weight, which she doesn't need to do.
We will be praying for your daughter today at the Shibboleth Prayer Time (7/2/21). Back pain is no fun.
She has been referred to a neurosurgeon for a consultation. She's 18 going on 19. They are also going to see if there is anything else to do for pain.

I have applied for a different position at my place of work. It will mean a pay cut but less physical abuse to my body. I will still do some hours in my current position. Shibboleth has really cut my inflammation down but the damage has been done and the last couple of years as been harsh. Please pray for more staff that are dedicated to serving the elderly and not just looking for a paycheck.
Are you still going to be starting your new job in mid-July? We are praying for you.
May be getting the job but will not be able to start until mid-July.
That's great news that you may be getting the job. You have already proven that you can persevere on Shibboleth. Keep persevering at your job. You can make it until July. We are praying for you.

I'm two weeks into the program and doing better than any diet has ever done for me. The learning curve is getting more manageable each day. My husband and I are traveling to see grandchildren and taking 3 others to see their cousins for a week next week. Please pray that I can stay commited to the plan and not fall back into my old habits and routines with the g-kids. I know I can holiday, but dont want to do that for a week. Starting over is always the hardest part, especially this early in the game. Thanks in advance for your support!
I made it through my week away with the grandkids without going too far astray. Thank you for the prayers!! Got back home and got back on track. I am as of today 14+ bounds down and loosing something everyday. May not be perfect, but I am making progress!
Congratulations on your weight loss!! We are praying for you during our Shibboleth Prayer time! Keep us updated.

Oh Patty! I am so so sorry to hear this and definitely will pray for you & your family!!!
I cant even begin to imagine the grief, sorrow, and anger she must be struggling with. I will most definitely be lifting her and your family up. It is too soon now, but in a few months encourage her to find a Grief Share group near her. It truly saved my life in the deepest darkest days of losing my parents.
Thank you so much.
Patty, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep your family in my prayers.
