update: My sister Barbara had the procedure today to insert a smaller trach tube. She is happy that she can BREATHE AND TALK ! The larger trach tube prevented her from being able to talk. Please keep praying that this trach tube is temporary and that her throat heals and she will be able to play flute again.

Update on My Sister, Barbara: She had the tracheostomy on Tuesday and can breathe! She passed her swallowing test and now can eat. She may need another surgery on Monday. Thank you for your prayers! Also, Pray for me. I don't do well with my eating when I am under stress.

My sister has been having problems breathing since a mysterious illness in September that hospitalized her for 21 days on a ventilator . She survived but has had breathing issues since . Yesterday it was so bad ( she couldn’t breathe) she was hospitalized . Today at 2 pm eastern time . She will have a tracheotomy ! Hoping they figure out why her throat keeps closing from inflammation .

Please pray from my mom broke two vertebra in her back and is in a lot of pain.
My moms surgery went well but she is delirious and confused from the anesthesia and pain meds. She has been moved to a rehab facility and doesn't understand what's happening. Please pray she is her old self soon.

the dr admitted my to the hospital for surgery to secure the broke vertebrae.
My mom isn't doing any better she has fallen three times since she broke her vertebrae. I'm asking for prayer that she stays in the bed at night this is a very stressful and scary time for me and her

Please pray for my stepfather Pete. He was diagnosed with a leaky heart valve a month ago and they are unable to find any dr who will accept their insurance. They drove almost 2 hours away from where they live to see a specialist today that they were told would do it, but when they arrived the doctor refused to see them because of the out of network insurance. This was all supposed to have been approved. I know God has got this, but the extra prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you. I spent the part of the day with her yesterday since her husband had to be away . She is doing well ! Please pray that the doctors find out why she is having inflammation in her throat that caused her need to have the tracheostomy . If they find out why, the trach can be easily removed !
