I’ve been off the planet for a while now. My husband fell off his horse on the evening of Friday, March 22nd. He wasn’t sure how bad he was hurt until about 9 pm when he had me call the ambulance. He was taken to Redmond Hospital in Rome. After several hours in ER we learned he had 8 broken ribs and needless to say, he was admitted. They tried to keep him as comfortable as they could. The one thing they tried to avoid happened...Pneumonia. A week later he was transferred to ICU where he could get more aggressive care. He was placed on a BiPap machine that would breathe for him. He was getting breathing treatments round the clock and finally they told my husband and I that the BiPap wasn’t helping him at all and that we had to make a decision... a ventilator. That was the one we dreaded the most. We talked and decided that if it could help him, he would agree, but if it didn’t he wanted it removed. We both agreed. After all efforts were exhausted,the pulmonary doctor told my son and I they had exhausted every effort so we had to let him go. It was hard, but we knew it was the right thing to do. So my son, his sister and our minister were there as he breathed his last breath. In less than 30 minutes after the ventilator was removed he was gone. Nineteen years ago he had a Tramtic Brain Injury from a motorcycle accident. He was never the same person after that. On numerous occasions, he would tell me that he prayed that God would take him home so he could have peace and healing in his life and could also be with our 2 sons. On April 12th, his wish was granted. I know that he is finally at peace. Please pray for his family and friends and me that we will allow the peace that surpasses all understanding sustain us in the days, weeks and months to come. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Hello, I would like to request prayer for my 15 year old daughter. Her name is Emilee and she has so many health issues. She was born with Congenital heart defect. She has had 2 open heart surgeries, scoliosis surgery and got diagnosed with thyroid cancer last summer. Over spring break we noticed she wasn't acting her self. Very tired and not eating. Took her to her cardiologist and after a heart Cath her conduit has 2 narrowings and her valve isn't fuctioning. We are going to Michigan Ann Arbor to have her heart repaired May 29th. She is such a special young lady and the heart and soul of our family. God is the greatest Physician and would love for everyone to pray for her Im so glad I have found the Shibboleth community. I have struggled with my weight and am a big stress eater. I know God will bring Emilee and my family through this difficult journey. Thanks.
Praying for Emilee and her upcoming heart surgery. Lord, please be with each person on her medical team, give them wisdom, guidance their minds and hands as they care for this precious soul. Last Tuesday my cousin passed away. All of her life she struggled with her weight and all the problems that go along with being morbidly obese. I did not try to help her by telling her about Shibboleth, I just figured why try since her living situation was so hopeless. Her parents gave her lapband surgery and begged her to move back home, but she refused. She weighed 400 pounds when she passed away. I hope that I never pass up the chance to tell anyone about our lifestyle and not just discount them because I think it won't work for them. I have asked God to forgive me for this will you please pray for me and my family. Thank you

Hello all, I've been a little MIA lately been very sick with the flu not eating much. Please pray for me to get healthier and energy to come back, sister Annette has migraines and my grandmother Doris, is having a pace maker put in tomorrow at noon she is 92 yrs old. Thanks for your prayers

I fell and injured myself. My body is covered with open abrasions which are very painful. started the 21 day challenge this morning but the exercise, gym and the therapy is on hold. Pray that I have a fast healing so that I can go back to the gym and work on this body so out of shape. and I thank God that it was not worse, He is so good.

For the last couple of days I have felt anxious, but I'm not quite sure why. I've been praying and asking God to ease my anxiety and give me peace. I can't put my finger on it though.
Sometimes anxiety is a call to prayer. Your prayers may be what someone else needs. Be thankful God is able to use you in this way. I'm so glad you are trusting in Him. May His peace fill your and the joy of the Lord be your strength.
