In need of prayers. Les, my husband, he had a fall Sunday, August 16. Had to be taken to the ER. While there he had something that looked like a seizure. They kept he for observation. A brain MRI shows that he has Alzheimer’s. They want him to be evaluated with the Neuropsychologist and be tested to see how advanced. He is having difficulty getting around and understanding why he can’t go home. Saturday, August 22, he was discharged from the hospital to rehab. He will be in rehab for 2 to 6 weeks. He was in the shower when he fell. When he fell he hit the shower handle and broke the shower valve. We had some water damage, which requires repairs. We need to make the house handicap accessible. We have a long way to go.

Today, we want to lift up two of our beloved members: Nancy Cameron Baggett and Betty Holden, along with others in our community who are also walking through similar struggles right now. They are both walking through some difficult things right now in their lives, and we want to surround them with love, faith, and support as a family. My friend Janette Cabe fell yesterday morning and broke her femur bone in 4 places. She's scheduled for surgery tomorrow afternoon as long as there are no issues. All prayers are needed.

Please pray for my husband, Tommy McClure. He had another heart attack Thursday. He is in the hospital awaiting a decision from his medical team on their next move. He is pre-heart transplant.

I am not new to the program but am doing a hard restart. I was in the therapy gym not as a therapist this time, but with my youngest who was being evaluated. Saw myself in the mirror, that coupled with the God wink of the "Gilligan's Island" theme pulled me in. It's time, it's hard, but I am ready to stop going around the mountain. I am an older mom, and waited a long time for the children that God has sent me. Please join me in prayer for self discipline, and for permanency for all of my babies.

My husband passed away last week after being sick for months and a 7 week hospital journey thru 6 hospitals. Please pray for me while I navigate this. I don't know what to do with or for myself. I'm just breathing in and breathing out right now. Putting one foot in front of the other. His memorial service is day after tomorrow and I just really feel lost right now. TIA 💔

I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through. I do know you have a group of faith filled friends who are here to listen if you ever need to pour out anything. I am praying for your provision and protection as you continue to take one step at a time.

Lord, let each person who signs up have the courage to take the crucial next steps towards you and their health. Let the zoom call attendance grow to reflect all the new people. Pray for Jeff, a customer and friend of mine. He had a mild stroke and has one heart artery that is completely blocked. He seems to have made a good recovery. This condition is somewhat hereditary but I told him he can fight back with the right eating plan.
Update on Les It’s been a ride. It is a major setback when he fell at rehab (it was not there fault). When he is discharged from rehab he will need 24/7 care. The children are concerned with my health. I have advance osteoporosis I cannot physically take care of him. If he pulls or grab me the wrong way he could break my bones. We have decided that the best thing for him so he will have the best care is to place him in assisted living when he is discharged from rehab. A difficult choice. It breaks my heart. His mental health is declining rapidly. The brain MRI that he had indicates that he has Alzheimer’s. We need prayers as we go through this stage and that he will adjust.
